Tuberculosis Spine Infection (Pott’s Spine)

Condition:
Also known as Pott’s disease, this condition involves tuberculosis infection of the spine, which may lead to epidural abscess and spinal cord compression.

Symptoms:
Persistent back pain, fever, weight loss, and weakness in the legs.

Treatment:
Spinal fixation with decompression, discectomy, laminectomy, abscess drainage, and biopsy to remove infection and stabilize the spine.
